Internal Features: Manston is the centre of excellence for firefighter training for the MOD. The site is part of the old RAF Manston WW2 airfield. There are a number of WW2 buildings on the site coupled with a wide variety of modern buildings and fire training buildings. It is a secure site of some 1000 acres with ample parking and is within 1 hour of London with excellent transport links.
